Born and brought up in Scotland, Dr Rachna Sharma completed her Dental degree with Merit, at the University of Dundee in 2002 having had won several prizes and distinctions throughout her undergraduate years. On marrying her husband, a GP at Toddington Medical Centre, Rachna then moved to London where she gained invaluable knowledge and expertise in the prestigious Oral Medicine department of Guys, Kings and St Thomas’s Hospital in London. This was when she was first introduced to the exciting field of dermatology. In 2004, she was awarded Member of the Royal College of Surgeons (England). Despite the aesthetics industry being unregulated, Rachna wanted to ensure that her qualifications and expertise were of the standard that her patients expected of her and so in 2015 she gained a postgraduate certificate and in 2016 a postgraduate diploma in Non-Surgical Facial Aesthetics from the University of Central Lancashire. She is currently completing her MSc in this subject.
