Biography

Fiona is a Ballymaloe trained Chef with a Degree in Education from Trinity College, Dublin. Having worked as a chef at Ballymaloe House, Fiona started her own successful catering business in Dublin in the late 1990s, catering for Private and Corporate functions with some of Ireland’s biggest Financial Institutions. She is passionate about healthy wholefood cooking and decided to setup her own business providing:
➢ Corporate Wellness – cookery demonstrations as part of a Wellness Programme or standalone in the workplace.
➢ Classes – aimed at small groups with cookery demonstrations of up to eight dishes, a meal, recipes, tips and culinary skills acquired.
➢ Private Group Demonstrations – for groups of friends, book clubs, sports social group or schools where demonstrations can be on site or at a venue that suits your requirements.

As an experienced chef and educator, Fiona brings her nutritional knowledge, culinary and organisational skills and Home Economics expertise to participants in a warm and relaxed environment. Wanting to run her own food business from a very young age, Fiona was inspired by the recent wholefood revolution in the Food Industry and decided to embark on a journey of teaching and empowering people to create great food at home.

Fiona lived in Australia for eight years where she was the Event Manager for The Cobra Group, a direct sales and marketing company, based in Sydney. She ran numerous projects and consulted to their Asian and UK businesses. Before she left Ireland she was managing the catering at PWC Dublin. Fiona is a keen sailor and volunteers at The National Yacht Club in Dun Laoghaire, organising the junior sailing section.
