The Yorkshire WIBN Groups made the short hop over the Irish Sea to meet up with our Ireland WIBN groups on 20 September. After a very early start, a short flight and some very welcome pastries, we were ready to start with our 1-1 meetings with our Ireland colleagues. Some of us attended a New Member Training Session with other Ireland members. After this it was straight into the Leeson Street monthly meeting. The meeting already had a great atmosphere and it felt more like a meeting of old friends, than business women getting together for the first time. There was good food, good conversation, lots of laughter and we know that not only were connections made straight away, but hopefully some friendships will develop too. We were sad to leave when it was time to go back for our flight home – the day was simply not long enough!
