16 miles, great scenery, make a difference!
I’d love you to join me on Charity Link’s Leicestershire 3 Peaks Challenge on 22nd September.
It’s such a friendly event – so many people come on their own – or you may like to take part with family, friends or work colleagues.
The Challenge starts and ends at Bradgate Park in Leicestershire and takes in Beacon Hill, Bardon Hill (Leicestershire’s highest point) and then Old John Tower in Bradgate. There are stop offs (with sausage rolls, coffee and brownies for those who want them!) and there is a glass of bubbles, medal and goodie bag at the end (and also a goodie bag for 4-legged finishers, who are very welcome to bring their human along!).
All funds raised through the event help to improve the lives of families living in hardship throughout Leicester, Leicestershire, Rutland and Northamptonshire.
Most walk but some challengers choose to run the route which includes some of the county’s most beautiful – and physically challenging – countryside.
