Heard of mindfulness? Want to know how it can improve your effectiveness at work and sense of personal wellbeing?
Mindfulness meditation is a practice that shapes and tones the mind. Research shows that regular meditation improves physical and emotional health and wellbeing. The man most credited with bringing secular mindfulness to the west, Jon Kabat-Zinn, defines mindfulness as: “paying attention on purpose, in the present moment, and nonjudgmentally, to the unfolding of experience moment to moment”.
In the 2-hour session, we combine theory and practice so that you leave with both knowledge and experience of mindfulness. We will introduce you to the principal skills and techniques of mindfulness and you will learn about the scientific research that supports its effectiveness.
