A Naturopath Follows a set of principles to most importantly keep you safe and to treat cause not symptoms using natural remedies and therapies. A Naturopath also treats each person as an individual as no two people experience anything in exactly the same way. In my practice I use around 15 different therapies to create a bespoke treatment plan just for you.
Specialising in the family means my care starts with you during pregnancy. Pre-natal reflexology is an excellent treatment to reduce and hopefully remove side effects experienced as your body constantly changes and adapts to house and nourish your baby. Your baby will also gain secondary benefits from this gentle yet effective treatment as they feel everything that you do. All you have to do is take your shoes and socks off! During pregnancy I would also use for example, nutrition, herbal teas and essential oils, depending on what you need most to keep you happy and healthy.
After the baby is born your body once again encounters change as it slowly returns to how it was. Reflexology once again supports this process as it aids your body’s natural healing processes gently stimulating pressure points on your feet. Potentially, the most relaxing part of this treatment is that I will come to you area depending in London, so you can have the treatment whilst you cuddle your new baby. Herbal medicine can also ease painful breasts due to breast feeding and any disruption to your digestive system due to a lack of sleep and regular meals. Good nutrition is still vital especially if you are breast feeding as your baby is directly impacted on by what you eat. Therapeutic massage will reduce your stress levels and also look after muscles that may now be complaining from carrying your baby in your arms.
I can also teach baby massage to you and so importantly to the daddy. This allows them to have hands on time with their baby that isn’t just nappy or clothes changing to strengthen their bond. Baby massage is beneficial for so many things; colic, sleep, strengthens the immune system, improves digestion and assists many other important developmental processes. Baby massage is taught for an hour once a week for 4 weeks. I can come to you (depending on area in London) teaching you one to one or with you and up to 5 friends.
