Hannah Sabin

Financial Services

Hannah is a director and global head of open source intelligence at Wallbrook, a bespoke due diligence and compliance risk advisory firm. We help companies and financial institutions make ethical, compliant and informed decisions about their operations, acquisitions, disputes and partnerships anywhere in the world.

Understanding a counterparty’s track record and reputation is not only crucial for complying with international corruption and money laundering legislation such as the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) and UK Bribery Act (UKBA). It can make the difference between commercial success and failure.

Hannah is responsible for the day-to-day management of Wallbrook’s fast turnaround due diligence reports. These are used by our clients, including many of the world’s blue-chip financial services firms and corporates, to quickly and cost-effectively identify, triage and manage counterparty risks relating to their third parties and potential customers. Our reports help map source of wealth, explore political exposure and flag other, potentially hidden, reputational risks.

Hannah is a Sinologist by training, and specialises in Asia-focused work. The wider Wallbrook team speaks Arabic, Farsi, Russian, Portuguese, Spanish, Czech and Turkish, as well as a host of other in-house languages.
