I was born in Wimbledon and after completing a B.eD from London University worked as a teacher for many years, including 14 years with Special Needs children. In 2002 I embarked on a new role as a Mission Partner with CMS in Ecuador. Here I was able to start a charity, Vida en Abundancia, in order to work legally with Special Needs children and also with Vulnerable Women. Through these ministries we started bringing back fairly traded jewellery made by local women in order to support them. I retired from Ecuador in 2013 and now am working to sustain the Ecuadorian charity through the sale of this ethically sourced and fair traded jewellery.
