I joined WIBN in 2007 representing what was then my new business. My main motivation at that time was to enjoy a working lunch with like-minded women who completely understood my difficulties and were willing to celebrate my successes with me. Along the way I picked up a lot of business and made good friends. I looked forward to the monthly meetings and really enjoyed my membership. Last May the opportunity came my way to get involved with WIBN in a new and different way - by taking over the running of what was now five WIBN groups. I had a lot to learn; it\\\\\\\'s all rather different when you\\\\\\\'re in the hot seat and responsible for helping others achieve their aspirations and supporting them whilst doing so, but I am enjoying the process and again look forward to each meeeting. WIBN meetings are about friendship and support, but also keeping the emphasis on doing business and finding business for our fellow members, without the pressure of referral targets. Our structured format means that both new businesses and long-standing ones can all feel comfortable to promote their goods and services in a friendly and welcoming environment. Basically, I love it!
