Biography

I am an Associate Solicitor in the family department at Thomas Mansfield. I provides sensible and practical advice to clients to enable them to make informed decisions as to how they wish to proceed. I am is pro-active in progressing matters, understanding the need for matters to be resolved as swiftly as possible so that clients can start to re-build and move on with their lives.

I practice in all areas of family law including divorce and separation, financial settlements (including cases with limited resources as well as complex financial issues), co-habitation, and pre and post-nuptial agreements. I am sensitive to the fact that the breakdown of a relationship is very difficult and will assist in obtaining a fair settlement. I provide pragmatic advice, reaching amicable solutions wherever possible in a cost effective way. Where necessary and appropriate, I will obtain input from expert contacts including accountants, actuaries, surveyors and specialist counsel.

I advise in disputes concerning children including who the child will live with and how much time the child will spend with the non-resident parent. I also advise in relation to child abduction and relocation both domestically and internationally.

I also advises in domestic abuse matters and is pro-active in taking steps to secure emergency protection for the client where necessary. I can assist in securing legal protection preventing any further harm. I also work closely with other professionals to ensure that my client\'s receive emotional support they may need to start to address their experiences.

I am a member of The Law Society’s Advanced Family Panel. This accreditation is recognised by the public, professionals and the Judiciary as a mark of excellence.
