Melody supports Shipley's and many of the firms clients in her HR capacity covering all elements of Human Resources and Organisational Development. With the ever changing landscape of employment law, Melody works closely with clients to ensure that they remain compliant in relation to employment legislation, recruitment, day to day HR issues and everything encompassed within the HR function.

Melody has a business degree from the University of Birmingham and then gained Charter member status from the Institute of Personnel and Development. Originally starting her career in an operational capacity before specialising in HR, Melody has worked as an HR generalist and specialist as well as working on HR strategy, organisation culture and complex legal issues. She has experienced working for organisations and clients internationally within different industries including tech & digital, retail, film, transport and finance.

Melody most enjoys seeing how HR can support business objectives through people as well as problem solving and the employment law elements of the role.
