After working for over twenty years within the Corporate business environment, across five business sectors, including a chair on the Board of Sony and Technicolor and senior executive positions in the likes of Hewlett-Packard, Ford Motor Company and Delphi, Natasha Tyrrell decided to combine her passion for people with her business experience and established Genii Group in 2015.
With the mantra that People Are Everything, as a social entrepreneur, Natasha has now established a community and is in the process of establishing the Genii brand. Genii (Pronounced Jen-eye) is plural for genius as Natasha believes that we all have an element of that in us, no matter who we are as well as the fact that life is a gift and it should be lived positively, however we wish, whoever we are.
Genii Home Care and Lifestyle Services was established during 2017 and is the third company in the group. Genii Home Care is a Managed Lifestyle Service which looks at every environment in which a vulnerable adult and exists and creates them a life plan to enable them to meet all of their needs and wants. The services support people who wish to remain living independent lives and their families and carers too. The 'tailored' lifestyle services are carefully crafted to the individual service user and deployed on a daily, weekly, monthly and annual basis as required. Genii Home Care prides itself in its global quality management system and sharp focus on the health and safety of its employees, partners and clients.
Ultimately, the businesses will continue to grow and additions are already planned over the coming five years. All of this was established to fund a CIO social enterprise starting in Northamptonshire but aspires to provide coverage across the United Kingdom through the provision of Wellness and Wellbeing Centres to support people because people are everything, with or without a 'label' in what is often a difficult and challenging world to live in. We wills support individuals to achieve all of their personal life goals and objectives and even discover what those are.
Natasha and the team have collaborated closely with the Care Quality Commission, the UK Government and the University of Northampton Health & Social Care Faculty with a common goal of creating a positive and efficient Social Care revolution.
