I have a real passion for data having worked in the data and direct marketing market for thirty years.

Most recently I was Managing Director of EDM Media UK delivering data driven solutions to my clients, and prior to that as Director of List Broking at global marketing agency, Rapp.
My blend of in-house and agency experience gives me a unique understanding of how data sits within these different environments. Having worked across a wide variety of markets, my career to date gives me specialist expertise in the fields of charity, mail order and financial services. I understand and appreciate the needs and nuances of each market sector.
As a recognised and respected spokeswoman in the world of data, I’ve played an active role in the industry. I’ve held positions on the Direct Marketing Association’s Data Council and the DMA’s Governance Committee, where I was actively involved in writing the last two Codes of Practise. More recently I’ve played a guiding role on several Institute of Fundraising steering groups, consulting on topics such as the impact of GDPR. I judged this year’s DMA Awards, and currently sit on the committees of the IoF’s Special Interest Groups for Technology and Insight in Fundraising.
