Stay ‘Sun Safe’ this Summer – and enjoy your holidays!

As the temperature rises, most of us want to be packing away our bottles of heavy foundation and compacts of pressed powder so that we can feel cooler and fresher in hot or humid conditions.  If you would love to go foundation-free, but lack the confidence to do so because of your fine lines and wrinkles, facial scarring, pigmentation or a skin condition such as Rosacea or Dermatitis, why not book an appointment to find out which of our many non-surgical Aesthetic Treatments could benefit you! From Dermalux LED Light Therapy to Wrinkle Relaxing injections and Chemical Peels – there’s always something that we can offer to help you fall back in love with your skin again!

You’ll have to be quick though – we only have a limited number of appointments available in August, so book now to avoid disappointment.

If your skin is already summer-ready, how about making sure your ‘wash-bag’ is too? If you are jetting off to sunnier climes, you’ll want to make sure that the cosmetics you take are multi-purpose – leaving plenty of room in your suitcase to bring back bottles of the local liqueur and novelty souvenirs!  We can definitely help you with this; if you need multi-tasking skincare products that cleanse, treat, hydrate AND protect your skin, why not invest in iS Clinical’s amazing Cleansing Complex (180ml) and their Extreme Protect SPF 30? These full-sized products usually have a combined RRP of £95, but if you book and pay for a treatment in July or  August, you can get them both for just £70 – a saving of £25!  Alternatively, if you are just jetting away for a long weekend and need some hard-working cosmetics that comply with hand-luggage restrictions, why not purchase our special iS Clinical ‘Sampler’ pack for just £30?

Whether you are staying in the UK this Summer or jetting off abroad, please make sure that you protect your skin! Wearing a good quality sunscreen that protects from the sun’s harmful UVA and UVB rays, and reapplying it regularly, are just two small and simple activities that really need to become second nature to us all. Wearing a wide-brimmed hat, good quality sunglasses and light long-sleeved clothing, seeking shade when the sun is strongest (between 11am and 3pm), and staying hydrated can all help to prevent sunburn and sunstroke from spoiling your holiday fun.

These simple measures can also help to reduce the likelihood that you will develop skin cancer in the longer term, so please make sure that you and your loved ones are adequately protected in the sun.
