MAGAZINE REQUEST: CALLING ALL LIFE COACHES – I NEED YOUR CLIENTS AS CASE STUDIES AND CAN GIVE YOU A PLUG IN RETURN!
PLEASE SEE CALL-OUT FOR YOUR CLIENTS
DID A LIFE COACH HELP YOU CHANGE YOUR LIFE/ATTITUDE AFTER BEING MADE REDUNDANT? OR DID YOU USE A LIFE COACH TO HELP INSPIRE YOU TO LOSE WEIGHT?
I’m writing a lovely, inspiring feature for a top women’s glossy magazine and am looking to interview a woman aged 35-59 who was made redundant (within the past three years). Were you shocked and devastated by the redundancy at the time, but then turned your life around afterwards and went on to find happiness through something non-career related? Please note: we’re NOT looking for career-change stories, i.e. people who set up their own business after redundancy – the feature is about finding happiness after redundancy through other non-work related things such as:
Seeing a life coach or counsellor (NB This is how we can plug any WIBN members who are life coaches – we just need to interview the life coach’s client, not the coach themselves but can include the life coach’s own website) Joining a new local club or class Learning a new skill Reconnecting with a passion/hobby that allowed you to meet/mingle with a new group of people Going travelling or on a mini adventure of some kind Getting fit/losing weight (but NOT through a weight loss club) Changing your look The premise is that the redundancy inspired you to make significant changes in other areas of your life or led to a whole new attitude! We would also like to include a photo of you.
NB I am also looking for other stories of women who made the decision to turn their life around by losing weight (needs to be fairly dramatic, at least three stone) and perhaps used a life coach to help them make these changes (not a slimming club for this one please). Please email me on [email protected] if you’d like to find out more (including your age/job title/contact details etc). Thank you so much for your help! I have no fixed deadline, this is an on-going request, but I’d be grateful if you could get in touch as soon as possible.
