Your first childhood memory? Getting into trouble with my friend Alex at nursery school. We’d been hanging off some freshly painted railings and were consequently covered in paint.
How long have you been a member of WIBN and why did you join? Just over a year. I joined because I missed being part of a team
Most frightening film and why? Candyman – I’ve avoided mirrored bathroom cabinets ever since!
What sort of training did you have before going into this business? My previous job was in the mining industry analysing and reporting safety, health and environmental data!
What advice would you give someone who wants to set up their own business? Do it!

What is the last book you read? The Big Leap – Gay Hendricks. A must read for anyone wanting to take their business to the next level.
What is the best thing that someone has said about you and your business? “I feel lighter in mind and in body. Your programmes are sustainable, whereas my lifestyle before I met you wasn’t. I couldn’t have made those changes without you.
How would you describe your business in three words? Smart weight loss
What were you hoping we’d ask you, but didn’t? Have you always been fit and healthy? No! Until my mid 30s I ate rubbish, smoked and drank way too much! So I know how difficult it can be to make a change.
How have things changed for your business over the past few years? I originally worked as a PT but now I specialise in weight loss and hormone balance for women over 40 and through menopause
What is the greatest challenge in running a business? Some days there just seems so much to do
What are your plans for the future? to specialise in managing menopause symptoms including the old muffin top through natural solutions focusing on food, exercise and lifestyle. HRT is not the only option and I want other women to know that.
What’s the best thing about being a member of WIBN? The friends I’ve made – you know who you are!
